Setting the Background for Translating Dil Dil Dil

The film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat released on 21 October 2025 to coincide with Diwali. The song Dil Dil Dil was held back for launch only some days before the movie. Already the reels of the hook steps of this sizzling dance number are viral on social media.

It has been a recent trend that item numbers in new Bollywood films are remixed versions of older songs and Dil Dil Dil is the latest addition. It is a remake of the song Koi Jaye To Le Aaye from the 1996 film Ghatak: Lethal sung by Alka Yagnik and Shankar Mahadevan, and composed by Anu Malik. Mamta Kulkarni and Ganesh Acharya perform on stage.  

The male chorus has not been completely inserted in the original and the translations.
