Poetic Translation of Title Song from Yash Raj Film Saiyaara

Saiyaara – Translation of New 2025 Bollywood Trending Song

Meta Description:  Saiyaara is the title song from the latest Yash Raj film. The Bollywood movie feature debutant pair Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Enjoy the poetic translation.

The Meaning of Saiyaara

Saiyaara is an Urdu word that literally means wanderer, and it is most used to describe planets. Interestingly, the English word planet also originates from the Greek word for wanderer. In poetic usage, however, saiyaara can also refer to a star, as it does in this song.

Stars, like planets, are wanderers—only much farther away. In the song, the beloved is likened to a star: distant and unreachable. This image captures the essence of separation and the ensuing longing, which form the emotional core of the plaintive lyrics.

I have used the phrase “O my star” for Saiyaara so as to match the syllables and maintain the rhythm.

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Saiyaara

You seem close to me we intertwine

As if you reflect feelings of mine

You seem close to me we intertwine

As if you reflect feelings of mine

I sink in deep despair

When you’re not anywhere

I spend the lonely nights

Talking as if you’re there

Each second my two lips

Do your favours beseech

They sing of all your grace

And to you they reach

O my star, you're yet as you used to be

It’s just that life now sighs incessantly

O my star, you're yet as you used to be

It’s just that life now sighs incessantly

Our shared moments have now become my goal

Your tears entrenched deep into my soul

I hear you call me in my laughter

With your stories my heart I console

Strands of memories

Strands of memories that will not depart

Those who are mine stay etched in my heart

I read the pages of our bygone days

Our lived moments in my soul always

I sink in deep despair

When you’re not anywhere

I spend the lonely nights

Talking as if you’re there

Each second my two lips

Do your favours beseech

They sing of all your grace

And to you they reach

O my star, you're yet as you used to be

It’s just that life now sighs incessantly

O my star, you're yet as you used to be

It’s just that life now sighs incessantly

When you and I again happen to meet

All my longings to you I will repeat

Whatever I may achieve in my life

Without you I will never be complete

I sink in deep despair

When you’re not anywhere

I spend the lonely nights

Talking as if you’re there

Each second my two lips

Do your favours beseech

They sing of all your grace

And to you they reach

The Original Hindi Lyrics of  the Title Song Saiyaara

Tu Paas Hai Mere Paas Hai Aise
Mera Koi Ehsaas Hai Jaise
Tu Paas Hai Mere Paas Hai Aise
Mera Koi Ehsaas Hai Jaise

Haye Main Mar Hi Jaaun
Jo Tujhko Na Paaun
Baaton Mein Teri Main
Raatein Bitaun

Honthon Pe Lamhan Lamhan
Hai Naam Tera Haaye
Tujhko Hi Gaaun Main
Tujhko Pukarun

Saiyaara Tu To Badla Nahi Hai
Mausam Zara Sa Rootha Hua Hai
Saiyara Tu Toh Badla Nahi Hai
Mausam Zara Sa Rootha Hua Hai

Beete Lamhon Se Duniya Basa Loon
Main Toh Tere Aasuon Ka Bana Hoon
Meri Hansi Mein Teri Sadayein
Teri Kahani Khud Ko Sunaun

Yaadon Ke Taare Ae Ae…
Yaadon Ke Taare Tootenge Kaise
Mere Hain Jo Woh Roothenge Kaise
Beete Dinon Ki Kholi Kitabein
Guzre Palon Ko Kaise Bhoola De

Haye Main Mar Hi Jaaun
Jo Tujhko Na Paaun
Baaton Mein Teri Main
Raatein Bitaun

Honthon Pe Lamhan Lamhan
Hai Naam Tera Haaye
Tujhko Hi Gaaun Main
Tujhko Pukarun

Saiyaara Tu To Badla Nahi Hai
Mausam Zara Sa Rootha Hua Hai
Saiyara Tu Toh Badla Nahi Hai
Mausam Zara Sa Rootha Hua Hai

Jis Roz Hum Tum Phir Se Milenge
Yeh Saari Baatein Tujhse Kahenge
Duniya Mein Chahe Ban Jaayein Jo Bhi
Tere Bina Tab Kuch Na Rahenge

Haye Main Mar Hi Jaaun
Jo Tujhko Na Paaun
Baaton Mein Teri Main
Raatein Bitaun

Honthon Pe Lamhan Lamhan
Hai Naam Tera Haaye
Tujhko Hi Gaaun Main
Tujhko Pukarun

The Literal English Translation of the Lyrics of Saiyaara

You are close to me, close like this

As if you are some feeling of mine

Alas I will surely die

If I do not get you

With your thoughts I

Spend nights

On my lips every second

Is you name Alas

I sing about you

I call you

O my star you have not changed

The weather seems to be ill-disposed to me

I will make a world with momemts past

I am made from your tears

In my laughter I hear you call

I tell your story to myself

The stars of my memories

The stars of my memories how will they break

Those who are mine how will they sulk

I have opened the book of days gone by

How can I forget past moments

On the day you and I meet again

I will tell you all these things

Whatever I may become in this world

I will be nothing without you

English Translation of Gulzar Bollywood Song Aane Wala Pal

Aane Wala Pal –Translation of Filmfare Award Gulzar Song

Meta Description:  Aane Wala Pal is a Bollywood song from Hrishikesh Mukherjee film Gol Maal with inputs from Gulzar, Kishore Kumar and R. D. Burman. Enjoy the poetic translation.

Setting the Background for Translating Aane Wala Pal

Aane Wala Pal is yet another timeless composition by Gulzar that reflects on the transient nature of time, urging us to cherish each passing moment. The song deepens William Blake’s idea of holding “eternity in an hour.” Gulzar won the Filmfare Award for best lyricist  for Aane Wala Pal the 27th Filmfare Awards held in 1980.

In the context of the film, the song is performed by Lucky, the music tutor of the beautiful Urmila. Through its lyrics, he gently conveys that time slips away and they must live and express their love before the moment is lost.

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Aane Wala Pal

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

If possible in it your entire life fit

The moment that will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

If possible in it your entire life fit

The moment that will soon disappear

I chanced upon one bud so innocent

I chanced upon one bud so innocent

She bloomed happily

Then away she went

It was just around

Then nowhere to be found

The moment that will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

If possible in it your entire life fit

The moment that will soon disappear

Once a moment slipped from eons it’s said

Once a moment slipped from eons it’s said

They looked for it but

Found a saga instead

It was woven with cheers,

And riddled with tears

The moment that will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

If possible in it your entire life fit

The moment that will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

The moment yet to come will soon disappear

The Original Hindi Lyrics of Aane Wala Pal from Gol Maal

Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Ho sake to isme zindagi bita de
Pal jo ye jane wala hai ho ho

Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Ho sake to isme zindagi bita de
Pal jo ye jane wala hai

Ek bar yun mili masum si kali
Ek bar yun mili masum si kali
Khilte hue kaha
Khus paash main chali
Dekha to yahin hai
Dhoonda to nahi hai
Pal jo ye jane wala hai wo ho

Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Ho sake to isme zindagi bita de
Pal jo ye jane wala hai

Ek baar waqt se lamha gira kahin
Ek baar waqt se lamha gira kahin
Wahan dastan mili
Lamha kahi nahi

Thoda sa hasake
Thoda sa rulake
Pal ye bhi jane wala hai wo ho

Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Ho sake to isme zindagi bita de
Pal jo ye jane wala hai

Aane wala pal jane wala hai
Aane wala pal jane wala hai

Poetic Translation of Tum Ho Toh from Yash Rag Film Saiyaara

Tum Ho Toh – Translation of New 2025 Bollywood Romantic Duet

Meta Description:  Tum Ho Toh is new song from Yash Raj film Saiyaara. It has been sung by Vishal Mishra and Hansika Pareek. Enjoy the translation set to the original music.

Setting the Background for Translating Tum Ho Toh

Saiyaara is a romantic Bollywood movie from Yash Raj Films, which introduces Ahaan Panday and also stars Aneet Padda as the female lead. It is set to release on July 18, 2025 in theatres worldwide. A few songs from the album have been released, including Tum Ho Toh, but their context within the movie is not yet clear. “Saiyaara” means celestial body like star or planet.

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Tum Ho Toh

Since the time you first clasped

My hand lovingly in yours

It felt like the raging oceans

Found the calmness of the shores

When I’m with you, aimlessness too

Aimlessness too

Turns into sweet fulfilment

With you I weave new memories

New memories

Each and every moment

If you’re there dawn brings something new

If you’re there dusks feel alluring too

This world is just like a dream

If you’re there it all feels true

If you’re there all turns golden

If you’re there, time lies frozen

If you’re there, there's this moment

If you’re there, it feels potent

If you’re there, this moment is potent

You met me in troubled times

Giving relief

You came like a deity

Giving belief

What can I say

Words feel too frail to express

But this I know nonetheless

From deep within your eyes I will

Your eyes I will

Forever steal your despair

From now on my love all my hopes

All my hopes

With you every morning share

If you’re there mild is the sun

If you’re there shady haven

If you’re there in my favour is

The coming of each season

If you’re there all turns golden

If you’re there, time lies frozen

If you’re there, there's this moment

If you’re there, it feels potent

I cannot recall when

I laughed without care

Until you, my life had been

Going nowhere

These prayers of mine

Someone has answered

It seems that God really exists

For how else can one find a soulmate

The way I discovered you

The joy your love has brought to me

At all times close

To my heart I will keep

I will stay awake with you all night

Just watching you

A moment I will not sleep

If you’re there all turns golden

If you’re there, time lies frozen

If you’re there, there's this moment

If you’re there, it feels potent

If you’re there, this moment is potent

Then if you’re there

Then if you’re there

If you’re there

The Original Hindi Lyrics of Tum Ho Toh from Saiyaara

In Haathon Mein Jab Se Hai
Aaya Yeh Haath Tumhara
Jaise Dariya Ki Halchal Ko
Mil Jaaye Koi Kinaara

Tumhare Sang Aawargi Bhi
Aawargi Bhi
Deti Hai Jaise Sukoon
Tumhare Sang Har Ek Lamha
Har Ek Lamha
Yaad Nayi Main Bunoon

Tum Ho Toh Subha Nayi Hai
Tum Ho Toh Shaame Haseen Hai
Ik Duniya Sapnon Si Hai
Tum Ho Toh Ispe Yakeen Hai

Tum Ho Toh Sab Acha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Waqt Thaama Hai
Tum Ho Toh Yeh Lamha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Isme Sadaa Hai
Tum Ho Toh Is Lamhe Mein Sadaa Hai

Tum Mile In Dardon Mein
Raahat Ban Ke
Tum Mile Ik Sufi Ki
Chahat Ban Ke
Main Kya Kahun,
Koi Lavz Hi Qaabil Nahi Hain
Par Mujhko Itna Hai Pata

Tumhaari In Aankhon Se Saare,
Aankhon Se Saare
Le Lu Andhere Tere
Meri Jaan, Abhi Baatenge Mil Ke,
Baatenge Mil Ke
Saare Savere Merе

Tum Ho To Dhoop Hai Maddham,
Tum Ho To Chhaav Hai Har Dam
Tum Ho To Haqq Mein Hai Mere
Aatе-Jaate Ye Mausam

Tum Ho Toh Sab Acha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Waqt Thaama Hai
Tum Ho Toh Yeh Lamha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Isme Sadaa Hai

Hum Na Jaane Aise
Hum Kab Hasse The

Hum Aise Hi Besabab
Jee Rahe The

Meri Yeh Duayein
Sun Li Kisi Ne
Lagta Hai Sach Mein Khuda Hai
Aise To Koi Bhi Milta Kahaan Hai
Jaise Mujhko Tu Mila

Tumhare Sang Jo Bhi Mila Hai
Ab Ek Pal Bhi
Khona Nahi Hai Mujhe

Tumhare Sang Raaton Mein Jag Ke
Dekhun Tumhe
Bas Sona Nahi Hai Mujhe

Tum Ho Toh Sab Acha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Waqt Thaama Hai
Tum Ho Toh Yeh Lamha Hai
Tum Ho Toh Isme Sadaa Hai
Tum Ho Toh Is Lamhe Mein Sadaa Hai

Jo Tum Ho Toh
Jo Tum Ho Toh
Tum Ho Toh

Translation of Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Lyrics from Brahmachari

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein: Poetic Translation of Brahmachari Song

Meta Description: Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein is a popular Bollywood song from the Shammi Kapoor starrer Brahmchari. Mohammad Rafi won Best Playback Singer Filmfare Award for this song.

Setting the Background for Translating Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein

Brahmachari (Shammi Kapoor) runs an orphanage out of his own home, supporting it by singing at a nightclub. One day, he rescues a young woman, Sheetal (Rajshree), from attempting suicide. Sheetal is heartbroken over Ravi Khanna (Pran), a wealthy man who has spurned her because of her unsophisticated manners. Moved by her plight, Brahmachari promises to help her win Ravi's love by transforming her into a refined, high-society woman.

As Brahmachari guides her through this transformation, he unexpectedly falls in love with her. However, the newly poised Sheetal is accepted by Ravi, who takes her to the very nightclub where Brahmachari performs. During his act, Brahmachari sings the poignant Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein, pouring his heart out in a song that reveals his unspoken love. Sheetal, touched by the raw emotion in Brahmachari's performance, realizes that she, too, has fallen in love with him. This moment of revelation marks a turning point in the story, as emotions and loyalties are tested, leading the narrative in a new direction.

Dil Ke Jharokhe Main as a Piano Song

Piano songs hold a special place in Bollywood cinema, often accompanying emotionally charged moments—and this scene is no exception. Brahmachari pours out his feelings at the piano, his voice echoing with longing and intensity. Meanwhile, on the dance floor, an equally dramatic tableau unfolds during the musical interludes. A line of innocent young women dressed in pure white is flanked on one side by polished, well-mannered suitors and on the other by cunning, dark-clad rakes. This vibrant rock-and-roll showdown becomes a symbolic reflection of the emotional tug-of-war between Sheetal, Brahmachari, and Ravi.

The Rhythm of Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein

During the recording of Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein, Shammi Kapoor humorously challenged Mohammed Rafi to sing the opening verse of the song in one breath. Rafi accepted the challenge and fulfilled it with immaculate perfection. The rhythm that was created by this, and adopted for the remaining verses, raised the intensity of the song to the next level.

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein

I’ll enshrine you in the window of my heart

With your memories I promise not to part

You’ll always be close to me

My darling do not worry

I’ll enshrine you in the window of my heart

With your memories I promise not to part

You’ll always be close to me

My darling do not worry

Tomorrow your beauty may charm someone else

But your images will be etched in my dreams

You'll depart in a flower-draped palanquin

Yet your fragrance will stay in my breath streams

Tomorrow your beauty may charm someone else

But your images will be etched in my dreams

You'll depart in a flower-draped palanquin

Yet your fragrance will stay in my breath streams

I’ll enshrine you in the window of my heart

With your memories I promise not to part

You’ll always be close to me

My darling do not worry

Your crimson lips appear as a carafe

Now poised to pour out wine both rich and rare

The mesmerising silken tresses of yours

Still cling to me even though you are not there

Your crimson lips appear as a carafe

Now poised to pour out wine both rich and rare

The mesmerising silken tresses of yours

Still cling to me even though you are not there

I’ll enshrine you in the window of my heart

With your memories I promise not to part

You’ll always be close to me

My darling do not worry

Betray my love if that is what you desire

You will not hear even a word in complaint

Your sacred image is ensconced in my eyes

Forever I will worship you as a saint

Betray my love if that is what you desire

You will not hear even a word in complaint

Your sacred image is ensconced in my eyes

Forever I will worship you as a saint

I’ll enshrine you in the window of my heart

With your memories I promise not to part

You’ll always be close to me

My darling do not worry

The Original Hindi Lyrics of Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein from Brahmachari

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar
Yaadon Ko Teri Mein Dulhan Banakar
Rakhoonga Mein Dil Ke Paas
Mat Ho Meri Jaan Udaas

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar
Yaadon Ko Teri Mein Dulhan Banakar
Rakhoonga Mein Dil Ke Paas
Mat Ho Meri Jaan Udaas

Kal Tere Jalwe Paraye Bhi Honge
Lekin Jhalak Mere Khwabon Mein Hogi
Phoolon Ki Doli Mein Hogi Tu Rukhsat
Lekin Mehak Meri Sanson Mein Hogi

Kal Tere Jalwe Paraye Bhi Honge
Lekin Jhalak Mere Khwabon Mein Hogi
Phoolon Ki Doli Mein Hogi Tu Rukhsat
Lekin Mehak Meri Sanson Mein Hogi

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar
Yaadon Ko Teri Mein Dulhan Banakar
Rakhoonga Mein Dil Ke Paas
Mat Ho Meri Jaan Udaas

Ab Bhi Tere Surkh Hothon Ke Pyaale
Mere Tassavur Mein Saki Baney Hain
Ab Bhi Teri Zulf Ke Mast Saaye
Birha Ki Dhoop Mein Sathi Baney Hain

Ab Bhi Tere Surkh Hothon Ke Pyaale
Mere Tassavur Mein Saki Baney Hain
Ab Bhi Teri Zulf Ke Mast Saaye
Birha Ki Dhoop Mein Sathi Baney Hain

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar
Yaadon Ko Teri Mein Dulhan Banakar
Rakhoonga Mein Dil Ke Paas
Mat Ho Meri Jaan Udaas

Meri Mohabbat Ko Thukra De Chahe
Mein Koi Tujhse Na Shikva Karoonga
Aankhon Mein Rehti Hai Tasveer Teri
Saari Umar Teri Pooja Karoonga

Meri Mohabbat Ko Thukra De Chahe
Mein Koi Tujhse Na Shikva Karoonga
Aankhon Mein Rehti Hai Tasveer Teri
Saari Umar Teri Pooja Karoonga

Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein Tujhko Bithakar
Yaadon Ko Teri Mein Dulhan Banakar
Rakhoonga Mein Dil Ke Paas
Mat Ho Meri Jaan Udaas

The Literal English Translation of the Lyrics of Ruaan

Seating you in the window of my heart

Making your memories my bride

I will keep you close to my heart

My darling do not be sad

Tomorrow your charm may be for some other

But your glimpse will be in my dreams

You will depart in a flower draped palanquin

But the fragrance will remain in my breath

Even now the cup formed by your red lips

In my imagination pour out wine

Even now the shades from your intoxicating tresses

Are companions in the heat of separation

Reject my love if you want to

I will not make any complaint

Your image resides in my eyes

I will worship it all my life
