Chor Bazari Phir Se Translation of 2025 New Bollywood Song

Chor Bazari Phir Se – Song from Bhool Chuk Maaf Translated

Meta Description: Chor Bazari Phir Se is a Bollywood duet from the romantic comedy film Bhool Chuk Maaf releasing in May2025. Enjoy this translation set to the original music.

Setting the Background for Translating Chor Bazari Phir Se

“Chor Bazari” literally means “selling stolen goods,” but in the context of romance, it carries a figurative connotation. It evokes the thrill of secret love — those fleeting, hidden moments a couple shares away from the disapproving gaze of society. With this in mind, I have translated Chor Bazari as “stolen love.” While not a perfect match, it captures the spirit of intimacy and rebellion in the phrase. I did consider “forbidden love” as an alternative, but it introduces a more dramatic or even tragic tone, which does not fit the light-hearted nature of the song. If you can think of a better rendering for Chor Bazari, please share it in the comments — I’d love to credit your contribution in a future update.

The extension “Phir Se” (Again) hints at a rekindling. Ranjan (played by Rajkummar Rao) and Titli (played by Wamiqa Gabbi) once shared the thrill of new, secret love. But over time, that initial spark has faded into routine. This song marks their attempt to rediscover and relive the magic they once had — to steal back the joy, laughter, and intimacy that brought them together in the first place. There is another reason for the extension Phir Se. The song is a recreation of Chor Bazari from Love Aaj Kal.

The film, Bhool Chuk Maaf (Forgive My Mistakes), is a romantic comedy with a science fiction twist, releasing on May 16, 2025. Given the genre blend, it is hard to predict exactly how the song will unfold on screen — but emotionally, it seems to promise a return to playful, rebellious love.

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Chor Bazari Phir Se

We once locked our eyes secretly

That was stolen love, now its gone

Cuddling close as youthful dreamers

Has lost its magic lost its fun

You being you and I being me

We had to come out in the open

And then before we realised it

Our trysts were bereft of passion

Whatever passed between us two

Was fated, it had to happen

Yes, we once locked our eyes secretly

That was stolen love, now its gone

Round ‘n round, round ‘n round the mind does rebel yes

Round ‘n round, round ‘n round body does revel

My pulsating heart upends its beat

I shiver I tremble from head to feet

I swear, I feel as if I am incomplete

When our glances meet

Then praised you every day

Feared that you would run away

Forgot that each and every hour

I love you I’d say

Then praised you every day

Feared that you would run away

Forgot that each and every hour

I love you I’d say

Love’s fever has now abated

Sweet nothings no longer spoken

Where once was “us” now there is “me”

I am my only attraction

We were once joined in flesh and soul

Now on our separate paths we run

Yes, we once locked our eyes secretly

That was stolen love, now its gone

We’d lose ourselves in each other

In the crowded market places

How we could locate each other

From thousands in public spaces

Now he argues till we go mad

My absence does not make him sad

Over time the magic slipped away

About this what can I say

Yes, we once locked our eyes secretly

That was stolen love, now its gone

The ways of this self-centred world

I did learn all of a sudden

The Original Hindi Lyrics of Char Bazari Phir Se from Bhool Chuk Maaf

chor bazari do nainon ki
pehle thi aadat jo hatt gayi
pyar ki jo teri meri
umra aayi thi woh katt gayi

tu bhi tu hai main bhi main hoon
duniya saari dekh ulat gayi
tu na jaane main na jaanu
kaise saari baat palat gayi

ghatni hi thi yeh bhi ghatna
ghat’te ghat’te lo yeh ghat gayi
haan chor bazari do nainon ki
pehle thi aadat jo hatt gayi

jhoomariya jhoomariya manwa ban baaghi sa
jhoomariya jhoomariya tanwa bedagi
man mera dhad dhad dhad dhadkaye
koyi na phir sar sar sar chadh jaaye
kasam se baazi haath na apne aaye
nain agar lad jaaye

taareef teri karna
tujhe khone se darna
haan bhool gaya ab tujhpe din mein
chaar dafa marna
taareef teri karna
tujhe khone se darna
haan bhool gaya ab tujhpe din mein
chaar dafa marna

pyar khumari utri saari
baaton ki badli bhi chhat gayi
humse mai pe aayi aise
mujhko toh main hi main ratt gayi

ek hue the do se dono
dono ki ab rahein batt gayi
ho chor bazari do nainon ki
pehle thi aadat jo hatt gayi

badi hi nain ladaake se
lade the roz bazaaron mein
kisi ko dhoond hi lete the
sadak pe roz hazaaron mein

behas nahi kam kam kam karte
na ab yeh gham gham gham karte
badal gaye dheere dheere do naina
mera kya kya kya kehna

haan chor bazari do nainon ki
pehle thi aadat jo hatt gayi
ek ghut mein duniyadari
ki main saari samajh nigal gayi

The Poetic English Translation of the Lyrics of Chor Bazari Phir Se

The stolen love of our two eyes

That we were habituated to, is no more

Of our love

The age that had come, is over

You are you and I am me

Seeing us the entire world is astonished

You did not know I did not know

How our situation has changed

This event had to happen

So over time it did

Swaying around the mind be like a rebel

Swaying around the body be without blemish

My heart pulsates strongly

Someone is all over me

I swear I cannot grasp the end

If our eyes meet

To praise you

To be afraid of losing you

Yes I have forgotten daily

To fall for you four times

The exhilaration of love has descended

The clouds of conversations have disappeared

I came from “us” to “me” like this

That I was infatuated with myself

We had become one from two

But now our paths are different

Crossing eyes with each other

We had quarrelled daily in the markets

We could find each other

On the roads amidst thousands

Now he argues senselessly

He is not saddened by my absence

Our eyes look at each other differently

What can I say

In one gulp the commercialisation

I have understood and swallowed
